
OVERVIEW
Delator is a cosmic horror puzzle-platformer Vertical Slice inspired by the world of H.P. Lovecraft and by the "Telltale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe.

Play the role of a skittish doctor chosen by the cult of Delator to be the last sacrifice and escape the gaze of Delator.
​
The goal of the project was to gain familiarity with Unreal 5 tools.
​
I worked as Game Designer, Producer and Programmer on this game as a personal project.

MY CONTRIBUTIONS
As Game Designer and Programmer
• Designed the overall core mechanics and systems and programmed some of them using Blueprints, including.

Panic System:
-
The player Panic meter will constantly fill up while being seen by a creature of Delator.
-
When the Panic meter gets full, the player dies and the main character becomes a ragdoll.

Stealth System: When Delator appears in the sky, the areas where the player is exposed fill up his Panic meter.
-
Save Game and Respawn System: Used Game Instance and Save Game object to save the player data during the game.
• Designed puzzles using hold and dragging mechanics, dimension swapping mechanics and platforming.

• Designed all enemies and creatures: behaviors, attirubutes and abilities.

• Implemented breakable sufaces using Chaos Destruction.
​
• Imported rigs and animations into Unreal.
​
• Implemented ragdolls.
​
• Dressed up the first main area of the Vertical Slice (Forest).

As Producer
• Managing a team of 7 developers, including: designers, programmers, artists and animators.
• Task monitorization via agile methodology (Trello).
